Hello,

We are having all sorts of problems with the proxy message popping up every time we open up an office application. We are running a proxy on a domain. We noticed this issue occur after a bulk update from Microsoft was pushed through to our computers, once this came through that is when we started having all of these dramas. 

Steps I have done already include:

• unchecking 'Allow Office to connect to the Internet'

I have disabled this using OCT when deploying Office to workstations. 

• made suggested changes to the registry to disable any online content:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Common\Internet           UseOnlineContent=0

The systems administrator has also added the below items to our proxy

office.microsoft.com


odc.officeapps.live.com

officeimg.vo.msecnd.net

This is doing my head in and we are constantly having users log a job when this happens. 

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Are you using Office 365? Or Office 2013 Click to Run version?

You can try to add more to your proxy white list:

http://blogs.technet.com/b/neiljohn/archive/2012/01/26/office-365-proxy-server-exclusion-list-office-365-service-url-s.aspx

Add these mentioned to your proxy exception to try again.
